Cancellation or Changes for In-House Exclusive Classes, including One-on-One Classes
A training request is considered booked under the terms in this Cancellation Policy when the Client accepts the Statement of Account provided to it. To meet the Client’s training needs, Insights MLA will make the agreed preparations, during which some investments may be made with other vendors or consultants. However, changes are inevitable and acceptable in these training requests.
Changes requested late may or may not be entertained, depending on the nature of the change requested, considering that some training materials may have been especially booked or prepared on account of the Client’s original training request.
Any fees incurred due to client-requested changes has to be shouldered by the client under a new Invoice or Billing Statement that the client has to settle before agreeing on a new date. These fees may include charges like transportation cost (if client cancels six hours before the training start time,) rebooking fee for any long-distance transportation and corresponding lodging (such as airfare, boat tickets, hotel reservations—if client cancels or moves a class that is outside Metro Manila and Insights MLA can provide proof that the transportation or hotel reservation has been booked,) printing costs (if client wishes to change the original printed certificate to reflect new dates.) Other fees may be charged depending on the nature of training.
Changes in the training day due to declaration of holidays, acts of nature, or other events that cannot be controlled by the Client shall be accepted without adverse consequences to the Client. However, these events do not terminate this contract and the Client must then advise Insights MLA when the class will resume, given that the new schedule is available on the side of Insights MLA.
Changes in participant names may be made at least 2 working days before the training day. This is to allow preparation of any minor personalized materials like certificates, etc. Changes in the participant names on the day of the training is allowed—but minor personalized materials like certificates may be issued late and may be at the expense of the Client.
In case the number of attendees on training day is less than the number of paid participants, the invoice may not be changed. However, the Client may use the unused slot towards the next training to be requested from the Service Provider. Only paid slots can be transferred; upfront free slots cannot be transferred. Participants in excess of the agreed number shall be accommodated by Insights MLA for a fee, similar to the amount per participant billed to the client.
For classes that run for more than one day, in case a participant fails to attend all or a certain number of days of the training, he/she may attend the next similar/equivalent Client in-house training for the module(s) missed. If the Client has no plans to avail of a similar/equivalent training, the Client has the option to take the handout/certificate of the participant despite the incomplete status. However, any preparations made for such participant during the missed session may not be refunded or applied to another training request.
In case the Client cancels the training request for any reason other than force majeure or causes beyond the control of the Client, Insights MLA reserves the right to seek 20% of the agreed total service amount or Php5000 whichever is higher (unless the total billing is below Php5000—in which case, the entire amount is forfeited) if the cancellation was made less than two weeks before the training. This is to cover any commitments that the Service Provider may have made in preparation of the training request of the Client. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of force majeure or occurrence of events beyond the control of the Client, clause 2.2 shall apply.
Insights MLA shall do its best to deliver the class on the agreed day. If the assigned trainer fails to report on the training day itself for whatever reason, Insights MLA reserves the right to find a replacement trainer, whom Insights MLA will deem capable. If Insights MLA fails to fulfill the training, Insights MLA can reimburse the full amount if client already paid.
If client is not yet paid, Insights MLA may provide another billing statement will 20% lesser than the original billing statement in order to schedule another date, if the client shall allow. Else, an unpaid client may end this contract because of Insights MLA’s failure to deliver on the training day or if Insights MLA and the client cannot agree on a new training day.

Registrations via third-party marketing channels like Eventbrite and Speedycourse, follow their own Cancellation Policies. Please read through them. However, we always set the cancellation allowance to at least with more than seven days left before the training day. If a customer cancels his or her registration with less than seven days remaining before the start of the training day, or when the customer did not show up on the training day without any request for refund, the ticket or registration is automatically forfeited in favor of Insights MLA.
Customers who cancel with more than 7 days remaining shall be entertained. However, any additional charges made by the third party marketing channel may not be refunded, in compliance with the marketing channel's own cancellation policies. The processing timeline of refund may depend on the third party marketing channel. Insights MLA shall not be liable to any delays in refund on the marketing channel's side-- as long as Insights MLA approved the refund on its end of the transaction.

Customers who paid in full or downpayment of any amount directly to any of Insights MLA's payment channels may refund the amount they paid up to 7 days remaining before the training day. The amount shall be deposited to a bank account that the customer will provide.
If a customer cancels with less than 7 days, 40% of the paid amount is automatically forfeited in favor of Insights MLA.
However, customers may transfer the ticket to another person, given that Insights MLA is made aware at least 2 days before the training day. Changes on the training day itself may be entertained, however, the replacement must pay Php250 to have the certificate delivered via courier. Insights MLA cannot prepare the certificate on the training day itself.
